Finn Douglas began his rugby career at the age of seven at Melrose RFC.
He played all of his youth rugby at the Borders outfit, alongside playing for his secondary school Earlston High School.
In 2022, Douglas signed for FOSROC Super Series side Southern Knights and made four appearances for the team during that year’s Championship.
The same year, he became one of the fifteen FOSROC Scottish Rugby contracted academy players aligned to Edinburgh Rugby, and represented the pro-team’s ‘A’ side during the 2023 FOSROC Super Series Sprint. Douglas was retained for a second year in the Edinburgh Rugby contracted academy in 2023.
Finn made his Scotland U20 debut against Spain U20 during the team’s development match in preparation for the 2023 World Rugby U20 Trophy and made appearances in all four of the Trophy fixtures. He then went on to represent the FOSROC Future XV side during the FOSROC Super Series Championship.
