Murdoch Buchanan Lock was born in London and attended Wellington College.
He now attends the University of Bath studying Politics and International Relations. He regularly keeps up with current affairs and reads political articles.
Murdoch started playing rugby at London Welsh when he was 4 years old. This was where he spent most of his time playing junior rugby.
Murdoch was capped three times by Scotland U18’s, when he played against France, Italy and England.
Lock has also competed in the IAPS Judo competition.
