Scotland Women win their seventh consecutive game for the first time EVER.
This squad go down in history. Their names on their backs for the first time, and their names in the record books.
A blue pandemonium in Cardiff. Smiles galore. And rightly so.
Tight to the end, but we head into our clash with France next weekend on the back of a hugely important win.

The maul doesn’t quite get us there, and it’s phase after phase of strong carries from the forwards.
But Sarah Bonar is down injured the play comes dangerously close to her, so it’s rightly stopped by the referee.
We’ll restart with a scrum around seven metres from the line.
Loads of phases from Scotland around the line, and eventually Bonar gets over, but she’s held up.
We had penalty advantage from the lineout though, so it’s another penalty.

Coreen Grant grabbed our only try of the opening 40, to the delight of everyone in blue.
We win the lineout, but in the maul Skeldon gets wrapped up and Wales get the scrum.
Leah Bartlett goes off her feet at the ruck and Wales will kick at goal. It’s around 25m out on the right side, and it will be the last play of the half.
Some kicks from either side early in this half, and Scotland will now throw in from around 35m out from our line on the right side.

Orr counters at a breakdown after Scotland had kicked clear from our 5, but the ball is deemed unplayable once more.

Lewis carries off the base of the scrum, but she’s wrapped up by Nelson, Gallagher and Stewart and the ball gets trapped in a maul!

Wales get the ball back and hoof downfield, then Nelson is penalised for holding on at the ruck.

Scotland steal it back, but then Mattinson is penalised for holding on.

This time it’s Wales who win the penalty at the scrum. George doesn’t find touch though, and after a kick from each side it’s Scotland who will have the lineout on halfway on our left flank.
This time it’s Scotland who overthrow. Wales lose it forward but debutant Alex Stewart also knocks on.

Skeldon’s throw adjudged to not be straight. Wales opt for a lineout of their own.

Wales steal the lineout again and exit, but we come back through carries from Gallagher, Sarah Bonar and Emma Wassell.
But Lewis gets the jackal penalty and Wales kick to just outside their 22.

Wales pinged again, and this time we’re 11 metres out with the lineout, again on the right.
We lose the lineout again, but Nelson gets the jackal penalty to win us the ball back.
And Nelson has elected to go for goal, around 15 metres out to the right of the sticks.
A breakdown penalty for Scotland, then Caity Mattinson takes it quick and wins another penalty for Bethan Lewis not retreating 10 metres.
Thomson kicks it into the right corner.
Wales steal it on the ground and exit. We’ll throw in again from just outside the 22 on our right.
A loose ball is gathered by Scotland and Orr hoofs through, but it goes out and Wales take the 22 dropout.
From the lineout on our right, we crash up in the midfield for two phases before Emma Orr and Meryl Smith make ground on the left.
Smith finds Coreen Grant, who steps inside and back out before diving into the corner.
