Shona Campbell burst onto the international rugby scene during Scotland's triumphant 36-12 win over Japan in November 2021.

Before showcasing her talent on the rugby field, Campbell excelled in netball at the national level.

At just 22 years old, Campbell boasts a diverse sporting background, having also competed in touch rugby at a national level. Notably, she contributed to Scotland’s mixed team securing bronze at the 2019 World Cup finals held in Malaysia.

Hailing from the High School of Dundee, Campbell’s athletic journey has seen her ascend to earning calls ups both to Scotland Women – where she can cover all back three positions – and GB Sevens.

As well as travelling with Scotland to the 2021 Rugby World Cup (played in 22), Campbell played a significant part in helping GB Sevens qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics 2024, after the side took gold in the European Games held in Krakow in June 2023.
