Open Competitions week two round up
12 Sep 2025Three schools remain undefeated in both of the Open Competition age grades, after two weeks of matches.

Of the undefeated sides, Stewart’s Melville and Merchiston both play tomorrow – against Stirling County and Dollar Academy, respectively.
There have been close matches in the seven-round competition in the Under-18 grade, such as when Boroughmuir snatched a 26-24 victory over fellow club side Stirling.
In the under-16 competition, Boroughmuir sit atop the table with maximum points from their two games. Chasing them are Merchiston and Stewart’s Melville, both of which play tomorrow.
