Men’s Premiership Final fixture details confirmed

Following the weekend’s results, Scottish Rugby can confirm the Men’s Premiership Final, between Hawick and Currie Chieftains, will be played on Saturday 4 May at Mansfield Park.

To assist with the live streaming of the game, a 2.00pm kick-off has been agreed with the clubs. The match will be shown live on the Scottish Rugby website, with coverage getting underway at 1.45pm.

Club Rugby Board Premiership representative Kevin Quinn said the apex of the season was now fast approaching, and encouraged neutrals to turn out in number for the occasion.

“It’s great that the date for the Premiership play off final has been set and this allows both clubs to focus on finishing the season on a high,” Kevin said.

“Rugby neutrals should try to get to Mansfield Park to see the two best club sides in the country go toe to toe.

“Last year’s final was a belter that went to the wire before Hawick came from behind to take the lead and win. I anticipate this year will be more of the same,” he said.
