Arnold Clark Men’s Premiership Feature Match: Heriot’s v Kelso

23 Jan 2026

Round 16 of the Arnold Clark Men’s Premiership gets under way on Saturday 24 January with Heriot's facing off against Kelso in a mid-table clash.

Hosts Heriot’s are sitting sixth going into this weekend’s fixture while Kelso are sitting fourth, tied with GHA on 38 points. Only three points separate these two sides as they prepare for the encounter at Goldenacre.

Last weekend, Heriots narrowly lost 21-19 to GHA, while Kelso came out on top against a struggling Glasgow Hawks side with a comprehensive 31-12 win.

Kelso will be looking to hold their own this weekend and assert themselves as a top four team, with all still to play for in Round 16.

Three things to look out for this weekend:

  • Ayr will look to continue their unbeaten streak against a mid-table GHA side at home.
  • Glasgow Hawks host Selkirk in a 9th and 10th place head-to-head.
  • Hawick will travel to a powerful Currie side, providing a real test for the Borders side at business end of the season.
