In less than a month’s time, the teams will battle it out for silverware at Scottish Gas Murrayfield, a special occasion for those who make it.
Chris Paterson said: “I can remember my days from school playing in the Cup final. To get that opportunity to play on the international turf is huge. It’ll be a thrill for those who do make it as they follow on from the men’s team who will have just finished up the Autumn Nations Series just before hand.”
U16 Cup Semi Final
Marr College, who beat Dunbar in the Quarter Final, drew Stewart’s Melville College, who themselves beat the Linlithgow. Marr were drawn first to give them the home advantage.
George Watsons College will face the winner of the remaining Quarterfinal heat, which will be either Merchiston Castle School or Strathallan School. The winner will be confirmed after the two sides face either other on Wednesday 13 November at 2.40pm.
Both Semi Final games will kick off at 10.3am on Saturday 23 November.
U18 Cup Semi Final
Marr are the only confirmed side for the U18 Cup Semi Finals at this point, having secured a narrow victory over Dollar Academy, 21-19, in the Quarter Final. They will face either Strathallan or Stewart’s Melville College.
Fettes College and Loretto School will face off to confirm the first of the second Semi Final spots, with the winner of that fixture set to face the winner between Merchiston Castle School and Howe/Bell Baxter High.
Both Semi Final games will kick off at 10.3am on Saturday 23 November.
