East Youth Cup shared for first time in recent history
25 Mar 2024For the first time in recent memory, the Under-18 East Youth Cup will be shared after Saturday’s final was all tied up at the final whistle.

The East Youth Cup finals consisted of five matches, played at the Hive and Scottish Gas Murrayfield’s back pitches, and all were tight affairs. The largest margin between competing teams was just nine points.
In the U18 East Youth Shield, Berwick got the better of Dalkeith by just three points in a 25-22 scoreline on the back pitches.
Queen Victoria School celebrated winning the U18 National Schools Plate 36-27 over Strathendrick/Balfron High School at the Hive.
The U16 East Youth Cup was taken by Currie 37-33 over a passionate Melrose side on the back pitches.
And Trinity Academy triumphed over Kelso in the U16 East Youth Shield in a 24-19 scoreline on the back pitches.
