Robbie Smith came through the Glasgow Warriors academy, and made his debut for the club against Ospreys in 2019.
The Newton Stewart and Ayr RFC product signed his first professional contract with Bedford Blues in the English Championship. He then spent two seasons with Newcastle Falcons before joining Northampton Saints in 2022.
Smith made six appearances in their 2023/24 Premiership-winning campaign, and also featured for them twice in the Champions Cup, including at Scotstoun against Glasgow.
Robbie previously represented Scotland at U16, U18 and U20 level. He was then selected for the senior side for the first time ahead of the 2024 Skyscanner Americas Tour and made his full international debut off the bench against Canada in Ottawa.
