A product of Queen Anne High School, Clarke started out at Dunfermline RFC, playing in the minis from the ages of five to eleven.
She then joined Stirling County, where she played for the U15 and U18 sides and was involved in Scottish Cup wins in 2017 and 2019.
Clarke was also previously involved in the Scottish Futures programme at both U18 and U20 level, and currently plays for Bristol Bears.
She featured in the BUCS National League Championship final in 2022, representing Edinburgh University as they faced Hartpury University at Sixways Stadium.
