Venues and dates confirmed for 2024 Inter-District Championship fixtures

The venues and dates for the 2024 Inter-District Championship fixtures have been confirmed.

Having returned to the calendar in 2023, the competition continues next year in a round-robin format, bringing more inter-district rugby to the regions.

Edinburgh will host The South at Stoneyhill, Musselburgh on Saturday 23 March and then go to Edinburgh Academical’s Raeburn Place for the visit of Caledonia Reds on Saturday 30 March.

Glasgow & the West will play their two home matches at Braidholm, home of GHA RFC, firstly against Caledonia Reds on Saturday 23 March and then against Edinburgh on Saturday 6 April.

Caledonia Reds will take on The South at Canal Park, where Highland are based, on Saturday 6 April.

And Poynder Park in Kelso will play host to The South v Glasgow & the West on Saturday 30 March.

All matches will kick off at 3pm.

Vice President Keith Wallace said: “”It’s great to have the fixtures announced as the excitement continues to build for the 2024 Inter-District Championship.

“The new format next year allows for more inter-district rugby in our communities, and we are excited to bring the championship to a number of different venues across Scotland, following this year’s success.”

Glasgow & the West v Caledonia Reds – Braidholm, Glasgow, Saturday 23 March (kick off 3pm)

Edinburgh v Caledonia Reds – Raeburn Place, Edinburgh, Saturday 30 March (kick off 3pm)
The South v Glasgow & the West – Poynder Park, Kelso, Saturday 30 March (kick off 3pm)

Glasgow & the West v Edinburgh – Braidholm, Glasgow, Saturday 6 April (kick off 3pm)
Caledonia Reds v The South – Canal Park, Inverness, Saturday 6 April (kick off 3pm)
