Jack Hocking thought he had marshalled the kick off out on the full, but instead he’s deemed to have taken it out.

With Hong Kong attacking, an excellent decision from our referee to halt play with one of their players suffering a head injury and being trapped in a ruck. With safety paramount, that was the correct call to halt play so quickly.

We’ll restart with a Hong Kong scrum.

During the injury break, Fergus Watson replaced Finlay Doyle.

We then get a penalty from the scrum and kick clear.

This time Hong Kong get the scrum penalty. They tap and go.

Hart steals the lineout, but it goes loose and Patterson has to ground it over his own line.

Meanwhile, with Scotland coming forward Hong Kong get the jackal pen. They exit to just inside our half.

At half time, Ben White replaced Robbie Deans in the pack.

We get the ball back, but as we kick ahead Norrie is in front and gets penalised.

Johnny Ventisei just manages to stop the kick off going out on the full, but his slap back bounces into touch on Hong Kong’s 10m line.

Hong Kong then get the free kick for Scotland closing the lineout gap. A kick will be sent skywards.

It’s just fantastic from Stephen, who breaks straight from kick off and fires a great pass out to Doyle on the right, who slaloms round the last defenders and over.
