Toronto-born Ewan Ashman is a prolific former U20 hooker, having burst onto the scene with no fewer than seven tries during the 2019 World Rugby under-20 Championship, a total that earned him tournament top try scorer.
The then-21-year-old had a full international debut to remember, scoring an acrobatic try in Scotland’s 15-13 win over Australia during the 2021 Autumn Nations Series.
Ewan was named in the 2022 summer tour party to Argentina, before making his Guinness Six Nations bow last year against Italy, and then appearing three times at Rugby World Cup 2023 in France.
He joined Edinburgh Rugby from Sale Sharks ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.
