Zander Fagerson

Tighthead Prop

ZanderFagerson

Aged just 20, Zander Fagerson became the fourth-youngest prop to play for Scotland in the 2016 Six Nations fixture against England at BT Murrayfield, a game that would represent the embryonic stages of a run that would end in British & Irish Lions recognition in 2021.

A product of High School of Dundee and then Strathallan, Fagerson has gone on to amass nearly 150 appearances for Glasgow Warriors in the best part of a decade since his October 2014 bow against Treviso.

Zander and younger brother Matt became the 48th such pair to represent Scotland in a Test, against USA in 2018.

The tighthead played in three matches at  Rugby World Cups in both 2019 and 2023, bookending that Lions call-up in 2021, when he would play in four tour matches in South Africa.
