A Scottish Schools Cup winner with Merchiston Castle as recently as 2018, Jamie Dobie is the latest in a long line of exciting scrum-halves to come through to push for international honours.
The Inverness-born half-back also impressed at Scotland U18 level, with a rise so rapid that Dobie signed for Glasgow Warriors straight from school.
He has already featured in nearly 70 professional games for the Scotstoun side and made his international debut in the 2021 Autumn Nations Series win over Tonga at BT Murrayfield.
A second cap followed in 2024 in the Famous Grouse Summer Series against Italy at Scottish Gas Murrayfield and, having won the United Rugby Championship with Warriors at the tail end of that season, Dobie grabbed a first Scotland try in against Canada in Ottawa in July.
