Max Williamson made his Glasgow Warriors debut at home to Benetton in November 2023 and made 19 appearances in all competitions in the Scotstoun side's URC title-winning campaign.
The former Dollar Academy and Stirling Wolves lock made 14 appearances for Scotland U20 across two seasons and, having previously trained with Scotland squads, first an apprentice player in 2021 and then again in 2024, Williamson won a first call-up as a squad player ahead of the 2024 Skyscanner Americas Tour, where he was selected for a full debut in the win against Canada in Ottawa and went on to feature in all four tests.
