PROFILE

A former Cardiff Metropolitan University student, the prop was included in the 2020 BUCS Super Rugby team of the year.

Hurd signed for Leicester Tigers in February 2021, making his debut two months later against Connacht in the Challenge Cup. He made 18 appearances across all competitions for Tigers this season.

In January, he was called up to Scotland’s 2024 Guinness Men’s Six Nations squad, but withdrew due to injury. He was then called up again for the Skyscanner Americas Tour and successfully earned a first cap, coming off the bench in the win over Canada in Ottawa.
