Adelle Ferrie, hailing from Whithorn in Dumfries and Galloway, made her Scotland debut on 22 March 2025 in the Guinness Women's Six Nations against Wales.
Ferrie’s rugby journey began during her time at Abertay University in Dundee, where she joined the Morgan Rugby Club, seizing the opportunity to engage in the sport she had long been passionate about. Following university, she played for Howe of Fife for three years before relocating to Edinburgh to further her rugby career.
In Edinburgh, Ferrie became a key player for the Corstorphine Cougars, contributing significantly to the team’s successes, including reaching two Premiership finals and securing their first title in the 2024/25 season.
Her impressive performances at the club level led to her selection for the inaugural Edinburgh Rugby squad in the 2023/24 Celtic Challenge season, where she made her debut as player number 23.
She returned for the capital side in the 2024/25 iteration of the competition, with her performances on the field earning her a call-up to the Scotland national team for the 2025 Women’s Six Nations Championship.
